WELCOME TO 4D ULTRASOUND - What Is
4D Ultrasound
3d or 4d ultrasound is performed by ultrasound technician. Ultrasound
is a form of non-invasive medical imaging, which uses transducers
and high-frequency sound to image a patient's internal organs, tissues,
and blood flow for the purpose of diagnosis. Diagnostic ultrasound
is also referred to as sonography or ultrasonography.
Please note that Ultrasound is safe for both mother and fetus.
3d ultrasound or 4d ultrasound technology uses the EXACT same ultrasonic
waves used in a traditional 2D scan at your doctor’s office.
This is done by simply taking a 2D scan in sagittal, coronal and
transverse planes and the computer renders the amazing 3D/4D images.
We advise only those mothers should undergo ultrasound scaning who
are currently under prenatal care and have undergone their 18-24
week diagnostic scan.
A professional ultrasound technician can only tell how to get best
results and what are the requirements for best ultrasound results.
With 4d ultrasound technology you can see your baby in live motion
video. 4D sonograms are sometimes referred to as "live 3D Sonograms".
The 4d sonogram equipment allows you to see your baby in live motion
video unlike 2d technology.
Are 3D Sonograms and 4D sonograms safe?
We are not aware of any studies that prove sonograms to be either
safe or unsafe. We ask that you speak with your doctor regarding
any medical questions because your doctor is your best source of
information. You will be asked to sign a general liability waiver
prior to your examination. We refer you trained ultrasound technicians
and certified sonographers with special training in OB scanning.
